Speaking during the interactive session held at the Udenu LGA Secretariat on Tuesday, CP Giwa noted that while recent security incidents in the area were largely isolated, they underscored the need for collective vigilance and proactive collaboration among all stakeholders.

He emphasized that security remains a shared responsibility and urged residents to remain united and work closely with the Police and other security agencies to curb all forms of criminal activity.

The Executive Chairman of Udenu LGA, Hon. They reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen local security structures and deepen cooperation with law enforcement agencies to ensure a safer environment across all communities in the area.

Other stakeholders, including town union leaders, traditional rulers, members of the Neighbourhood Watch Group, and Forest Guards, made meaningful contributions during the meeting. They pledged to implement agreed strategies in their respective communities and sustain synergy with the Police in combating emerging threats.

The session was attended by senior officers of the Command, including the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Gregory Itobore; the Udenu Area Commander, ACP Bernard Amaga Ukwa; the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Intelligence Department; and the Commander, 76 PMF Enugu.
