The Enugu State Government has announced the commencement the resolution of all payroll verification issues for all affected Local Government and State workers, as well as pensioners.
A statement by Prof Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the State Government issued on Monday and obtained by EnuguDaily indicated that following the recent verification exercise, only those who were successfully verified were included in the payroll.
“However, we noted some complaints emanating from the outcome of the recent concluded verification. To address this, the government has directed the Verification Committee to review these complaints, to ensure that only eligible individuals are reinstated while maintaining the integrity of the system”, the statement said.
While listing the steps for resolution, the Secretary to the State Government adviced
affected persons to visit designated verification centers to clear their issues within the stipulated period of 4th to 21st, March 2025.

2. Verification & Screening: The verification team will review all issues to ensure that only those with genuine cases are reinstated.
