Enugu Gov’t eases restriction of movement for NDA screening

… _urges residents to keep their environment clean_

The Enugu State Government says that there will be no restriction of movement during this month’s sanitation exercise slates for Saturday.

This, it said, was to enable candidates for the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, screening exercise in Enugu slated for Saturday, 25 May, 2024 to fully participate in the exercise.

The government, however, said the sanitation exercise would go on, and urged residents to come out en masse to clean their environments, ensuring that drainages are properly cleared for free flow of water as the rains set in.

The government’s decision was made known by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof Chidiebere Onyia, on Friday, saying it was imperative to ensure that all candidates, who applied for the NDA 76 Regular Course have access to their examination centres.

“Movement of persons on Saturday will no longer be restricted. We want to ensure that all our candidates have a hitch-free access to their venues. It is very fundamental to us.

“However, the sanitation exercise will still go on and Ndi Enugu are urged to clean their environments because health is wealth,” he stated.
