The Enugu State government has continued to match words with actions as it has performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a world class Computerised Vehicle Inspection and Training Headquarters in Enugu.

The commissioner, represented by the ministry’s permanent secretary, Mr Ikechukwu Nnamoko said the centre will ensure all vehicles plying the road in the state obtain a roadworthiness certificate.

He said the centre which is expected to be completed in the next three months is responsible for ascertaining the road worthiness of all rickety vehicles in the state.

Mr Ozor commended governor Peter Mbah for his keen interest in adopting some of the proven strategies in different parts of the world with the aim of boosting transportation and logistics and to make Enugu become a key driver for the purpose of increasing the state Gross Domestic Product.
