Enugu Innovative Youth extends Medical Outreach to Isi-Uzo

The Enugu Innovative Youth, under the visionary leadership of Hon. Edeani Maduabuchi Edeani, successfully concluded a large-scale medical outreach in Isu Village, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, impacting nearly 500 residents with essential healthcare services.

The outreach, a hallmark event in the lead-up to Governor Peter Mbah’s second anniversary in office, garnered widespread praise from community members and leaders.

The initiative offered free medical consultations, treatments, and health education to underserved individuals, many of whom had never before accessed such care. Community members hailed the event as a “lifeline” and a testament to what youth-led, community-driven action can achieve when aligned with progressive governance.

“This is more than a medical outreach, it’s a statement that young people in Enugu are ready to drive change from the grassroots,” said Hon. Edeani. “We are complementing Governor Peter Mbah’s vision for a healthier, more inclusive Enugu.”

Adding to the impact was the crucial organizational role played by Hon. Barr Emmanuel Nyia, Secretary of the Enugu Innovative Youth. “This outreach reflects our collective commitment to serving the people with passion and purpose,” Nyia remarked. “It is proof that good planning and youth solidarity can deliver life-changing results.”

The outreach drew the support and presence of several dignitaries, including Rev. Dr. Chimaobi Aninwaene, whose spiritual guidance added depth to the event, and Tony Egbo, Deputy Mayor of Enugu South and a dedicated member of the group, who commended the team for their unwavering commitment to service.

The Chairman of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area ensured security and provided a warm reception, while the traditional ruler (Igwe) of Isu Village offered his blessings and commendations, solidifying community backing for the initiative.

Their combined presence highlighted the unity and synergy among youth groups, religious leaders, and traditional institutions, which helped elevate the outreach beyond a health campaign into a symbol of collaborative civic progress.

The Enugu Innovative Youth expressed profound gratitude for the hospitality received and reiterated their commitment to grassroots impact. This outreach, more than a one-off intervention, stands as a shining example of what is possible when youth activism, leadership, and compassion converge.

As the countdown to Governor Peter Mbah’s second anniversary continues, the Enugu Innovative Youth remain poised to champion transformative projects across Enugu State, one community at a time.
