The Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the appointment of six Commissioner-nominees.
They are;Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh, Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli, Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna, Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo, Prof. George Ugwu, and Ben Collins Ndu Jr.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia disclosed this in a statement on Thursday and obtained by EnuguDaily.
According to the statement, the names of the nominees have been transmitted to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The Governor also approved the appointment of Dr. Godwin Anigbo, as the Enugu State Head of Service.
According to the statement, the appointment takes effect immediately.
