NUJ celebrates Gov. Mbah’s impactful two years in office

The Nigerian Union of Journalists, Enugu State Chapter, has congratulated  the Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the occasion of his two years in office.

A statement by the Caretaker Committee Chairman and Secretary of the NUJ, Comrade Agatha Agu and Jude Chinedu said under Mbah’s visionary leadership, Enugu State has witnessed remarkable progress across education, transportation, and broader infrastructure.

Foremost among Mbah’s administration achievements according to the statement is the roll-out of 260 Smart Green Schools, a transformative initiative the Union said promises to revolutionize teaching and learning, empower young people with 21st-century skills, and position Enugu as a leader in sustainable education.

“Equally commendable is the comprehensive rehabilitation and expansion of our road network across the state.
This will lead to faster connections that will stimulate commerce and ease access to health and social services”.

“Your  administration’s commitment to modern infrastructure extends beyond roads. We applaud the ongoing upgrades to urban water systems and the construction of critical public facilities.

“As you celebrate this milestone, please accept our best wishes for continued success, health, and strength. May the next year bring even greater dividends for the people of Enugu”.
