
The Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB) has announced the release of the results of the merit-based recruitment assessment test for English and STEM subject teachers in senior secondary schools across the state.
According to a public service announcement signed by Rev. Fr. Hilary C. Mgbodile, Chairman of PPSMB, all candidates who participated in the exercise can check their results at the PPSMB headquarters or any of its zonal offices.
The recruitment exercise, aimed at addressing the personnel shortage in the state’s education sector, attracted a total of:
– 2,322 candidates for English
– 955 candidates for Mathematics
– 1,623 candidates for Computer Science
– 555 candidates for Chemistry
– 552 candidates for Physics
The approved cut-off marks for each subject are:
– English: 73
– Mathematics: 73
– Computer Science: 60
– Chemistry: 40
– Physics: 40
Successful candidates are invited for a briefing on the requirements for screening on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the PPSMB headquarters.
The screening exercise will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the same venue.
Rev. Fr. Mgbodile congratulated the successful candidates and assured that the exercise was merit-based.
