Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State on Saturday cast his vote at Polling Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, in his hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area.
The governor, who is running for a second term under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), arrived at Polling Unit 002 around 1:13 p.m. and voted after completing his accreditation.
PUNCH Online reports that before election day, Soludo had encouraged Anambra residents to come out en masse and vote peacefully, stressing that active participation was essential to sustaining democracy.
He described his re-election ambition as a divine calling aimed at consolidating his administration’s developmental strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and security across the state.
