….Unveils 2027 Mobilisation, Youth Empowerment Strategy
The Chairman of the APC Youth Progressive Forum, Ukkasha Hamza Rahama, has thrown his weight behind Ben Nwoye for the position of Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress, describing him as the most qualified candidate to drive the party’s future in the southern region.
Speaking during a press conference, Rahama highlighted Nwoye’s decades-long loyalty and contributions to the APC, noting that his leadership would strengthen the party’s grassroots presence across the South-East, South-South, and South-West.
He said Nwoye’s vision goes beyond political rhetoric, focusing on a robust mobilisation plan aimed at securing a renewed mandate for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
According to him, the strategy includes deploying thousands of trained party ambassadors to engage communities through town hall meetings and digital platforms.
Rahama explained that the proposed framework would integrate local languages and culturally relevant communication to deepen voter engagement and expand the party’s reach at the grassroots level.
The youth leader also outlined Nwoye’s plans to prioritise empowerment for party loyalists, particularly women and youths, through targeted programmes.
These he said include access to grants, business training, and federal intervention funds, as well as opportunities in digital skills development and international training.
He added that Nwoye intends to establish a structured “APC South Talent Pipeline” to connect party members with employment opportunities in key sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, and the creative industry.
Rahama further disclosed plans for a dedicated Women and Youth Empowerment Desk within the office of the Deputy National Chairman to ensure inclusive participation and access to federal programmes.
He urged party delegates to support Nwoye’s candidacy, expressing confidence that his leadership would consolidate the APC’s gains and position the party for a decisive victory in the 2027 general elections.
According to Rahama, Nwoye represents a blend of experience, vision, and commitment necessary to advance the party’s interests and deliver tangible benefits to its members across southern Nigeria.
