The Concerned Youths of Nsukka Local Government Area have commended Peter Mbah for what they described as a remarkable show of love, inclusiveness, and commitment to grassroots development during their recent visit to the Government House, Enugu.
In a statement issued after the Stakeholders visit, the group expressed gratitude to the Governor for granting them audience and for his administration’s continued attention to the developmental needs of Nsukka LGA.
They noted that the warm reception reaffirmed the Governor’s dedication to participatory governance and inclusive engagement.
The youths particularly applauded the Governor for approving the sum of N500 million to support Engr. Jude Asogwa in the construction of shops and a modern market in Nsukka.
According to them, the project will significantly boost commercial activities, empower small and medium-scale business owners, create employment opportunities, and enhance internally generated revenue within the council area.
They described the intervention as timely and impactful, adding that the initiative aligns with the state government’s broader economic transformation agenda.
The group also reiterated their appreciation to the Governor for the His support to Engr. Chinedu Jude Asogwa as the Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, describing him as a visionary and results-driven leader whose administration has brought renewed hope to the people.

Furthermore, the Concerned Youths commended prominent stakeholders for their steadfast support of the council leadership.
Special mention was made of Chief Mmaduka Onyishi, C Peace Mass Transit, and Chief Wilson, CEO of Tummy Tummy Noodles & Co, for what they termed unbiased and constructive presentations made to the Governor on the true state of affairs in Nsukka Local Government.
They noted that the stakeholders’ sincerity and commitment to truth played a crucial role in strengthening the partnership between the state government and the local council.
The youths pledged their continued support to Governor Mbah’s administration and reaffirmed their readiness to collaborate with the state government and other critical stakeholders to ensure sustained peace, unity, and accelerated development in Nsukka and Enugu State at large.
