Governor Mbah’s Aide, Anichukwu buries late mother

The remains of the late Senior Mother-in-Israel, Mrs Josephine Mgborie Anichukwu have been committed to the mother earth at her home town, Obiagu Amigbo Nomeh, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Mrs Anichukwu who died at the age of 81, was the mother of the media aide to the governor, Mr Uche Anichukwu.

In his sermon, a former chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter, Senior Apostle Timothy Okpala of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, enjoined Christians to live an upright life while on earth in order to secure a place in heaven.

He noted that death is inevitable, and advised the deceased family to uphold the good virtues of their mother, describing her as a courageous, peace-maker, and true Christian.

Two of her sons, Mr Nnaemeka and governor Mbah’s media aide, Mr Uche Anichukwu described their mother as an outstanding community leader, mentor and a role model.

While consoling the family, the Enugu State governor Dr Peter Mbah, represented by the commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Deacon Okey Ogbodo encouraged the family to be steadfast in prayers and charged them to take solace in the lord.

Other dignitaries in attendance were the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Chidiebere Onyia, Local Government Chairmen led by the Nkanu East council boss, Hon Okechukwu Edeh, Commissioners, SPA’s, SSA’s, among others.
