Prince Ejeh Josh, Special Adviser on Research and Publication to Governor Peter Mbah and Spokesperson of the Mmiri Oma Campaign Organisation, has congratulated Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe on his emergence as Chairman-elect of Nkanu East Local Government Area.
In a congratulatory statement, Ejeh described Ogbuekwe’s victory in the just-concluded local government election as a demonstration of what he described as the confidence, trust and hope of the people of Nkanu East in the incoming chairman.
He expressed optimism that Ogbuekwe’s administration would prioritise people-centred leadership, infrastructure development, empowerment, economic opportunities and investment attraction across the council area.
According to Ejeh, the incoming administration should seek to reposition Nkanu East beyond its traditional agrarian status and develop it into an emerging industrial council area.
He also called for inclusive development, economic advancement and improved opportunities for residents, while expressing hope that Ogbuekwe’s tenure would strengthen unity across the council area.
Ejeh said the new administration should deliver enduring benefits to the people and leave behind a legacy worthy of the mandate and confidence placed in the chairman-elect.
He wished a successful tenure as Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area.
