The President General of Ohuani Amofu Nkerefi Town Union in Nkanu East Local Government Area, Hon. Felix Nweze, says the remarkable achievements recorded by Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, within a short period have inspired the community leadership to pursue progressive initiatives at the grassroots level.
Hon. Nweze stated this while speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated executive of the Town Union, noting that the team is committed to repositioning the community for sustainable growth and development.
He reaffirmed the executive’s resolve to promote unity, transparency and inclusive governance in the administration of community affairs.
According to him, the leadership will work closely with stakeholders, traditional leaders and residents to maintain peace and implement people-oriented projects that will improve the welfare of the people.
The President General assured residents that the executive would diligently discharge its responsibilities and strive to leave a lasting legacy before the expiration of its four-year tenure on February 13, 2030.
He also pledged prudent management of community resources and effective execution of development programmes aimed at advancing the overall progress of Ohuani Amofu Nkerefi.
The Town Union executive includes Hon. Felix Nweze as President General, Comrade Ogoani Uchenna as Secretary General, Hon. Celestine Egbonwonu as Assistant Secretary, Hon. Bartholomew Ani as Treasurer and Hon. Ifeanyi Aninwogbu as Financial Secretary.
Other members are Hon. Aninwachukwu Marthias, Elder Gabriel Chukwueze and Hon. Ani Jacob Offia as Directors of Socials, while Mr. Chukwu Joshua Chukwado and Mr. Chekwube Orji serve as Provosts.
