Dr Ben Nwoye has emerged as the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress at the party’s ongoing elective convention.
Nwoye, a former Chairman and Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in Enugu State, was unveiled moments ago, confirming his emergence after earlier indications of a consensus arrangement in his favour.
He succeeds Chief Emma Eneukwu, who has been part of the party’s national leadership for 13 years.
Nwoye alongside other elected members of the National Working Committee are about to take their oat of office.
