The Enugu State Water Corporation has announced an urgent interruption of water supply across parts of Enugu following what it described as “significant water wastage” detected along its distribution network.
In a public service announcement dated November 17, 2025, the Corporation stated that maintenance teams have commenced repair works on two major points along the Oji main trunk line which has resulted to suspension of water supply from Monday, November 17, to Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
According to the statement signed by the Managing Director, Engr. Dr. Mike C. Nwachukwu, normal water supply is expected to resume by Wednesday evening, upon completion of the repair works.
The Corporation expressed regret over the inconvenience the interruption may cause residents, appealing for public understanding as efforts are made to improve service delivery.
The statement reaffirmed the Corporation’s commitment to providing reliable water services and noted that all inquiries should be addressed to the office of the Managing Director.
